Severn Vale Swimming Club

Welcome to the Severn Vale Naturist Swimming Club

The Severn Vale Swimming Club is a friendly, family orientated group where naturists meet regularly
throughout the year.

While many of us also belong to outdoor clubs, the Severn Vale Swimming Club offers all-the-year-round facilities that are independent of the weather. In addition to our fortnightly swim meetings, our calendar also includes occasional non-naturist social events such as skittles matches, barn dancing and boat trips on the river Avon.

We hold our swims at the Cascades Leisure Centre, Oldbury Road, Tewkesbury, which is a complex with all the facilities one could wish. A large, 25 metre pool is used for serious swimming and which for special events, such as our summer and winter parties, can include:

An enclosed water slide,

An underwater, compressed air “mini volcano” and

A water spray feature

The childrens’ pool

The Cascades 25 metre main pool

Separated from the main pool by a grotto featuring a bubble spa and mini waterfall, is a childrens’  pool. Always kept warm, it hosts two  waterfalls and a rain shower feature. Floats are available and there are often beach  balls for the kids (and those who are kids at heart) to play with. For adults there is a Jacuzzi, a steam room, a sauna, a gym, and two relaxation areas (one overlooking the main pool) with tables, chairs and vending machines that provide drinks and snacks. Please see the “News & Notices” page for more club information.

Individual members of British Naturism (BN), or members of a BN-affiliated club are always welcome, but to save embarrassment at the door, please make sure that you have your membership card with you.

Other naturists and those wishing to give naturism a try for the first time are welcomed by Severn Vale. However, please make prior arrangements by telephoning the club beforehand and please bring some form of identification with you preferably a driving licence. See the “Contact Us” page for details.
